Hailing from Markham, Ontario, Flemming most recently competed with Richmond Hill Soccer Club in League 2, one of Ontario's top leagues. She previously played with Markham Football Club, where she spent the 2024 season playing up an age group. Flemming was also a part of Ontario's Provincial Team program in 2022.
With Markham FC, Flemming helped her team win numerous titles such as the 2024 Ontario Cup Championship, the 2024 OPDL Championship, the 2023 Desert Cup Championship, the 2023 Charity Shield Championship, and the 2023 FTF Fall Showcase Championship.
A high achiever off the pitch, Flemming, an Honour Roll student and recipient of the Anthropology/Sociology/Psychology Award in 2025, will be studying science.
Flemming has strong roots within Dalhousie as both her parents, aunt and uncle are Tigers alumni.
"I am beyond excited to represent Dalhousie," Flemming says. "Playing varsity soccer and studying at a top Canadian university is a dream come true. I am confident that Dal is where I'm meant to be, and I'm incredibly proud to call myself a Tiger."
Coach Cindy Tye is looking forward to what the Black & Gold's newest recruit will bring to the team.
"Jade is a product of the Markham SC which has enjoyed great success the last few years. A versatile wide player, she can play out of the back as a fullback or as a winger," says Tye. "Jade is technically sound and has pace that adds to her ability to evade defenders and make good decisions. A former member of Ontario's provincial program, Jade has a competitive background that will enable her to transition into the U Sports environment quickly. We look forward to welcoming Jade on campus!"
The Tigers continue to build toward the 2026-27 AUS season as they welcome Flemming to the Dalhousie women's soccer program.
The St. Catharines, ON product has been team captain of various squads, and holds an academic average of over 94 percent in the classroom.
